Privacy Policy
Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Red Shiba Studio LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use Shiba-Ku ("the app"). By using Shiba-Ku, you agree to the practices described below.
What We Collect
Shiba-Ku collects the minimum necessary to operate the app:
- Purchase information — processed by RevenueCat on your behalf when you make an in-app purchase. This includes transaction records and your device's anonymous identifier used to validate entitlements.
- Game Center data — if you choose to connect Game Center, Apple manages your leaderboard scores and achievement data under Apple's own privacy policy. We submit scores and achievement progress to Game Center; we do not receive or store your Apple ID or personal information.
All other game data — your settings, selected avatar, star balance, puzzle progress, streak, milestone history, and collection — is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to us.
What We Don't Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any account credentials
- We do not sell your data to third parties — ever
- We do not use your data for advertising or ad targeting
- We do not display ads of any kind
- We do not collect your location
- We do not track you across other apps or websites
- We do not require an account or login to use Shiba-Ku
How We Use Your Information
- To process and validate in-app purchases and restore entitlements you've already paid for
- To submit Daily Puzzle scores and achievement progress to Apple Game Center (only if you opt in to Game Center)
Third-Party Services
Shiba-Ku uses the following third-party services:
Data Storage
All personal game data — including your selected avatar, star balance, puzzle streak, milestone progress, background and music preferences, and settings — is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. We do not maintain external servers or databases containing this data.
Uninstalling Shiba-Ku removes all locally stored game data from your device. Purchase entitlements can be restored at any time via the Restore Purchases option in the app's Store screen, as they are tied to your Apple ID through RevenueCat.
Children's Privacy
Shiba-Ku is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation, does not collect names or contact information, and does not display advertising. The only data transmitted off-device is anonymized purchase data via RevenueCat, which does not identify individual users.
Parents and guardians can manage in-app purchase permissions through Apple's Screen Time and Family Sharing settings.
Data Deletion
To delete all locally stored game data, uninstall Shiba-Ku from your device. For questions about purchase records held by RevenueCat, contact us at hello@redshibastudio.com and we will assist with any applicable deletion requests.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app. Continued use of Shiba-Ku after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
