Agreement to Terms

By downloading or using Petty Besties, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

These Terms apply to all users of Petty Besties, operated by Red Shiba Studio LLC.

Age Requirement

Petty Besties is intended for users 18 years of age or older. By using this app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

We do not knowingly permit users under 18 to access Petty Besties. If you are under 18, you are not authorized to use this app.

Entertainment Purposes Only

Petty Besties is designed and intended for entertainment purposes only.

All reads, diagnoses, hidden signal analyses, exit strategies, and any other content generated by the app are produced by artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude API) and do not constitute:

  • Professional relationship advice
  • Psychological or mental health counseling
  • Legal advice of any kind
  • Medical or therapeutic guidance

Do not rely on app-generated content as a substitute for professional advice. Red Shiba Studio LLC assumes no responsibility for decisions made based on app outputs.

AI-Generated Content

Petty Besties is powered by Anthropic's Claude AI. All analysis, reads, exit strategy phases, and tactical content are generated by an AI model in real time based on information you provide.

AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not applicable to your specific situation. Red Shiba Studio LLC makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or outcomes of any AI-generated content within the app.

Insights in the app are informed by publicly available frameworks from The Gottman Institute and Mental Health America, but Petty Besties is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a product of either organization.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Petty Besties offers optional in-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's App Store. The following products are currently available:

Monthly Subscription — $2.99 / monthUnlimited access to all modes and features. Auto-renews monthly until cancelled.
Annual Subscription — $19.99 / yearUnlimited access to all modes and features. Auto-renews annually until cancelled. Best value.
Exit Strategy Unlock — $1.99One-time purchase. Unlocks all three exit strategy phases for a single relationship profile. Non-consumable.
Stay The Course — $1.99Single-use tactical counter-move analysis. Consumable purchase.
Tactical Script — $0.99Single-use tactical script unlock within the Stay The Course deep dive. Consumable purchase.
Burn / Save List Unlimited — $2.99One-time purchase. Removes the 3-slot limit on your Burn/Save List. Non-consumable.

Subscription billing: Subscriptions are charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings at any time.

Prices are displayed in USD and may vary by region based on local App Store pricing.

The app includes a free usage tier — 3 Hidden Signals reads, 1 Exit Strategy diagnosis, and 3 Burn/Save List slots — at no charge. No time-limited free trial is offered.

Restore Purchases

If you previously purchased a non-consumable product or subscription, you can restore it at no charge via the Restore Purchases option in the app's Settings screen. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID.

Refunds

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple. Red Shiba Studio LLC does not process refunds. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

User Content

When you paste text into Petty Besties, that content is transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a response. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit does not violate the rights of third parties.

Do not submit content that is illegal, threatening, or intended to facilitate harm to another person.

We do not store your text inputs on external servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to use Petty Besties to:

  • Harass, threaten, or stalk another person
  • Plan or facilitate illegal activity
  • Submit content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app

Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, and code within Petty Besties is the property of Red Shiba Studio LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Petty Besties is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Red Shiba Studio LLC does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific outcome will result from use of the app.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Red Shiba Studio LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Petty Besties or reliance on any AI-generated content produced by the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app. Continued use of Petty Besties after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from use of Petty Besties will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the applicable courts.
